2000 yards in the pool this morning

One step at a time. I'm a tubby turkey who is slow as molasses.

Football/tailgate season is not kind to my body!

Since we joined the Coal Creek YMCA, this is my first am stint.

The 4-lane pool had 6 people in it when I jumped in. Shared a lane with a woman who moved over after about 2 minutes.

There were two lifeguards hanging at the south end of the pool. One had Bob Dylan playing on the sound system.

Now I'm on a packed 550 bus on the way in to work, sitting next to a guy listening to something that sounds vaguely like Chuck Mangioni.

Not a bad way to start the day, all in all.
